Is there any way to upload files in asp.net without using html file input control? - asp upload persist

I have a file input control to upload HTML files to a Web server and it worked well. When is asp.net application on the Web server is moving from C: to D: dir, IAM get the error message "Unable to find part of the path to C: / Inetpub / wwwroot / /". This error occurs even if the file is loaded somewhere other than C: dir on the client system. However, the file will be loaded when I fromthe localhost.
